Dr. Katie O’Dell brings 30+ years of experience in the financial services industry, primarily in consumer banking and credit cards. Dr. O’Dell currently works at Visa, leading organizational strategy for the National issuer segment. She also has experience in managing large teams responsible for credit card products, marketing, regulatory compliance, loyalty and benefits, Agile methodologies, process technology, and customer experience at USAA, Wells Fargo, J.P. Morgan Chase, First USA, Fleet, and MBNA. Dr. Katie O’Dell holds a Doctorate in Business Administration (D.B.A.) from Wilmington University, as well as a M.S. in International Marketing and a B.S. in Marketing from St. Joseph's University. She is an Adjunct Professor in the College of Business at Wilmington University, currently teaching Doctoral level Ethics in Business and Management, and prior courses such as MBA Business Strategy, M.S. Communications, and Bachelor level Global Business Management. Dr. O’Dell completed her dissertation with a Work Readiness Needs Assessment for Cancer Survivors in Delaware. She is a passionate cancer advocate and volunteers her time with Helen F. Graham Cancer Center & Research Center in Newark, Delaware.
